Hiki's founder Jamil has a cousin who is in the autistic spectrum. A conversation they had prompted Jamil to think about the difficulty for the autistic people face in finding friendships and partners. That gave him the motivation and idea to create a friendship and dating app for the Autism community. We helped Jamil design and develop Hiki, launching it after two months. From there, Hiki continued to grow in popularity organically and we continued to help Hiki with more useful features. Jamil went on to win first prize (USD $10000) at a 4WRD Ventures pitch competition. After a few months of strong organic growth Jamil quit his job to focus on Hiki full-time. Since then Hiki got selected into TechStars accelerator and received investment from Google Ventures. We are very proud of what Jamil has done for the Autism community and grateful for his trust in letting us help execute such a impactful social platform.
